I am that which you know to be right and true and beautiful. My way is not a mixture — you know I hate a mixture — everything must be what it is, not what some other thing is . . .
As I waited before the Lord June 6, 2011, a picture came into my mind. I saw someone sweeping up dirt, etc. from the parking lot of a motel. It was maybe a fairly nice place, but around the edges it was ugly asphalt, chain link fence, garbage cans, etc. No amount of beautification can change what is underneath — decay and rottenness have begun before construction can even be completed, and the support structure for such a place, however beautiful of face, is unfailingly ugly.
I wrote this down, and then I asked God whether this picture meant anything, and if so, what that might be. This is the answer I feel I received from Him:
I am that which you know to be right and true and beautiful. My way is not a mixture — you know I hate a mixture — everything must be what it is, not what some other thing is. The mixture is a blending of “good” with evil. There can be no such thing, as the fly always corrupts the ointment. The ointment cannot beautify and make wholesome the fly. Keep the flies — the unlovely things — away from you. Do not consume them. These are the thought processes of the natural realm — they CANNOT conform to My law. Keep yourselves ONLY unto Me.
Be dead to this world — let your body be a corpse to you, and I will raise it up for you at the appointed time as a new and uncorrupted thing, beautiful, enrobed in holiness, frank, honest, pure; uncorrupted by this world and its ugliness and mundanity.
The things of this world cannot be made new. They must be destroyed and remade entirely. The underlying principle is rottenness. There is no foundation. Earthquakes are a type of this. Whenever I shake anyplace with an earthquake, I am saying to you that the world’s foundations are ineffective and useless. You anchor things in this unstable, doomed world, and when they are shaken, you react with surprised dismay. Is it not inescapable that he who founds his house on nothing will experience its fall?
Therefore build your lives on Me. Then your foundations can never be shaken. This world WILL be shaken in every way. What ever you have set up for yourselves here WILL be shaken and will fall. That which you plant firmly in My Son can never be shaken.
